Safety & Compliance — Certifications and Regulatory Standing

Our Commitment to Safety & Compliance

Uncompromising Standards for Your Peace of Mind

In the world of luxury yachting, safety is the ultimate luxury. At Indonesia Luxury Yachts, we maintain an unwavering commitment to operational safety and full legal compliance with all Indonesian and international maritime regulations. Our clients trust us to manage every detail, and that trust begins with our rigorous, transparent, and proactive approach to safety. This page outlines our corporate, maritime, and operational compliance framework, which is the foundation of our vetting methodology.

Corporate & Legal Compliance in Indonesia

We operate with full legal standing as a registered Indonesian entity, ensuring accountability and adherence to national laws.

  • Legal Entity: Indonesia Luxury Yachts is a brand under a legally registered Indonesian company (PT – Perseroan Terbatas) within the Juara Holding Group.
  • Tourism License (SIUP-PARIWISATA): We hold a valid Tourism Business License issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), authorizing us to conduct tourism and charter operations.
  • Tax Compliance (NPWP): Our company maintains a registered Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and is fully compliant with all regulations set by the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes.
  • Mandatory Crew Insurance (BPJS): We verify that all Indonesian crew members on our partner vessels are registered and covered under the national social security programs for employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and health (BPJS Kesehatan).

Maritime Safety & Vessel Certification

Every vessel in our portfolio must meet or exceed stringent local and international safety standards.

  • Indonesian Seaworthiness: All yachts are subject to regular inspections and must hold a valid Certificate of Seaworthiness (Surat Kelaiklautan Kapal) from the Indonesian Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Ditjen Hubla).
  • International Safety Standards: Our vessels are equipped to a standard that is comparable with international conventions like SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), including certified life rafts, EPIRBs (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons), and modern fire suppression systems.
  • Certified Crew: All captains, officers, and engineers hold the necessary national and international certifications for the vessel’s size and cruising area, such as STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers).

Operational Safety Protocols

Our safety protocols are proactive and comprehensive, covering every aspect of the charter experience.

  • Emergency Action Plans (EAP): Every yacht has a detailed EAP covering medical emergencies, fire, and man-overboard scenarios. We have established protocols for medical evacuation in coordination with international assistance providers.
  • Advanced Communication & Tracking: All vessels are equipped with redundant communication systems, including satellite telephones and VHF/SSB radios. Real-time GPS tracking allows our shore-based operations team to monitor the vessel’s position 24/7.
  • Regular Safety Drills: Crews are required to conduct and log regular safety drills to ensure they are prepared and proficient in all emergency procedures.
  • Aviation & Ground Safety: For air travel, our IATA accreditation ensures secure and reliable bookings, often with partners like Garuda Indonesia. Our ground transportation partners are vetted for vehicle quality, driver professionalism, and safety records.

Our meticulous attention to safety and compliance allows you to relax and immerse yourself in the beauty of Indonesia, confident that you are in the most capable and professional hands. Begin planning your secure journey by exploring our curated fleet.
